Are there any club membership fees?
Fees are determined annually by the Board of Directors and are used by the club to support activities and facility improvements.
What is the difference between a club player and a club member?
The main difference is that members have voting rights in for the annual Board of Directors nominations and a few other benefits.
Players are still included in every other part of the club.
Membership allows the club to operate and support Pickleball in Temple Terrace.
Can I play pickleball in Temple Terrace and not be a member of the Temple Terrace Pickleball Club?
Yes, but we’d love your support by becoming a member.
Playing at the Temple Terrace Family Recreation Complex requires a separate Recreation Center membership or a $10 entry fee.
Play at the Temple Terrace Recreation Tennis Center is free for the public.
What types of pickleball activities does Temple Terrace offer?

How can I participate in tournaments?

What is a round robin shootout play and how can I participate?
These events allows for play and where players rotate partners and keep track of individual match wins for points. These events take place on Saturday's at the Temple Terrace Parks and Recreation Tennis Center and registration is required. (More Info)

What is the purpose of the club's website?
Our website serves as the central hub for all information related to the club. It links to all other platforms and resources you'll need to stay informed and engaged with our activities.
How does the club use Email?
We use Email to send out important announcements and updates directly to our players. If you're interested in receiving these updates, you can join our mailing list by providing your name and email address here.
What role does social media play for the club?
Social media allows us to reach out and communicate with pickleball enthusiasts who may not be club members. We maintain active accounts on Instagram, Facebook, and X, sharing updates and news that you can easily add to your social media feeds to stay in the loop.

Can you explain what the DUPR App is and how to use it?
The DUPR App and the DUPR website are critical for event registration and accessing player rankings. To participate in any club events beyond open play, you'll need to download the DUPR app, create an account, and request to join the Temple Terrace Pickleball Club. Make sure to enable notifications for updates on events and connect with Derek Stewart's DUPR profile for the latest information on DUPR events. We have a page dedicated to how DUPR ratings work.
How is the club governed?
By a Board of Directors selected annually by club members.
How often does the Board meet?
A minimum of three times per year, with additional meetings as needed. Board meetings are listed on the calendar and usually take place on the first Monday of every month.
How does the club support the local community?
Through donations, volunteering, and organizing events that benefit pickleball in and around Temple Terrace.
