Each August, our members choose the five people who will guide the club for the year ahead.
Here is how it works, who can take part, and how to put your name forward.
Our board is chosen by our paid members. We offer three paid plans: Member, Donor Member, and Lifetime Member. If you hold any of these plans and your membership is current after August 1, you can nominate others, be nominated yourself, and vote.
Free club players are always welcome on the courts. To take part in the election, move up to one of our three paid plans. Lifetime Members never need to renew.
August 1: Nominations open. Paid memberships are in effect for the new cycle.
August 1 through August 31: Declare your intent to run, or move up to a paid plan so you can take part.
August 31: Nominations close.
By August 31: The five new board members are selected.
Monday, September 14, 2026: The new board's term begins.
Our bylaws (Article III) set the process:
The board has five members, chosen by the paid membership.
Each paid member may submit up to three nominations.
The five members who receive the most nominations are selected to the board.
If there is a tie, we hold a runoff. Each paid member casts one vote.
Board members serve a one-year term that begins on the second Monday of September.
